Welcome to Best of Late Night, a rundown of the previous night’s highlights that lets you sleep — and lets us get paid to watch comedy. We’re all stuck at home at the moment, so here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.
Trump’s Chinese Bank Account
The late-night hosts skewered President Trump for maintaining an undisclosed bank account in China despite his years of attacking the country on trade and monetary policy. The account’s existence was revealed in a New York Times article published on Tuesday.
“Of course Donald Trump has a Chinese bank account,” Jimmy Kimmel said on Wednesday night. “He had to — he’s running out of things to be hypocritical about. It was the only thing left. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out he tunneled under the border from Mexico into the country.”
“If you’re keeping score, Trump’s attacked ‘60 Minutes,’ doctors, and the Postal Service. At this point, seniors are like, ‘Do you want us to vote for you or not? Just tell us — we don’t have to.’” — JIMMY FALLON
“Seriously, if you’re trying to win the senior vote, you can’t insult ‘60 Minutes.’ That’s like trying to win the youth vote by banning TikTok.” — JIMMY FALLON
The Bits Worth Watching
The members of the K-pop group Blackpink helped Guillermo in his attempt at the TikTok “ice cream dance challenge” on Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
