Hello and welcome to Sportstar’s LIVE coverage of the final of IPL 2020 as Mumbai Indians takes on Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Stadium at 7:30 PM IST.
DC 94/3 after 12 overs: Shreyas Iyer with a superb maximum over the deep mid-wicket has brought Delhi back into the match and this got to be a very special innings from both Iyer and Pant.
DC 81/3 after 11 overs: The partnership is worth 59 off 45 balls and this has been a wonderful recovery from Delhi batsmen. Sensible batting and they are not allowing Mumbai to dictate terms.
DC 75/3 after 10 overs: Rishabh Pant announces his arrival with two massive sixes and he has decided to attack Krunal Pandya. First a maximum straight into the sightscreen and then goes over cow corner.
DC 59/3 after 9 overs: Time-out! Mumbai would be happy with the effort but Delhi’s Iyer and Pant are slowly bringing their team back in the hunt. However, a wicket here will change the game towards Mumbai.
DC 51/3 after 8 overs: Krunal Pandya is introduced into the attack and he does a decent job as he gives just five. The partnership between Iyer and Pant is 31 off 29 balls with Pant batting on 12 and Iyer on 22.
DC 46/3 after 7 overs: Top stuff from Jayant Yadav as he bowls three dot balls and gives just five runs from his second over. Pant and Iyer are doing a fine job rebuilding the innings.
DC 41/3 after 6 overs: Ishan Kishan drops a tough chance as Iyer slaps Nathan Coulter-Nile hard over cover-point, Iyer goes flies and makes a brilliant effort but fails to latch on to it.
DC 35/3 after 5 overs: Shreyas Iyer is clearly struggling to time the ball and on one occasion moves away trying to whack the ball away. However, manages to put one away to keep the scorecard scoring.
DC 25/3 after 4 overs: Excellent move from Rohit Sharma as he brings in Jayant Yadav and he gets the big fish, Shikhar Dhawan. Delhi all over the place on a big night as Rishabh Pant walks in to join his skipper.
DC 20/2 after 3 overs: Trent Boult has wrecked havoc in just his second over and he strangles Rahane down the leg to leave Delhi in huge trouble. Shreyas Iyer joins Dhawan.
DC 11/1 after 2 overs: Mumbai on the attack and this is sensational from two top bowlers – Boult and Bumrah. The Indian pacer almost yorked Dhawan with a gem of a delivery. Rahane, meanwhile will have to anchor the innings.
DC 5/1 after 1 over: What a bowler! Trent Boult strikes and he removes The Hulk, Marcus Stoinis for a duck with a jaffa. Meanwhile, Dhawan gets off the mark with a flick and even Rahane is off the mark.
Marcus Stoinis and Shikhar Dhawan sprint onto the field and so does the Rohit Sharma-led side. It will be Trent Boult with the new ball.
Alright we are all set for the final game of IPL 2020 and this should be a cracker of a contest. Runs on the board is what skipper Iyer thinks is the best approach in a big game and how much they will post, we will get to know soon.

Pitch Report by Mark Nicholas and Pommie Mbangwa: This pitch has been good. The whole square has been good. I see a beauty, I am licking my lips. This is the pitch used for that qualifier. There has been a good balance between bat and ball, with the ball coming on nicely. The faster bowlers have enjoyed bowling here. The spinners were in play. You’d bat first on this, but you’re not going to be disadvantaged by the toss.
